SeeHearEducation is delighted to be joining the National Literacy Trust as headline sponsor of its Secondary conference 2026: Building a reading culture.
All delegates can visit our stand for a free copy of our new book We Can All Communicate Better: Change your classroom, Change your community … change the world!
We hope it’ll be a great summer read during the National Year of Reading, as well as a great introduction to SeeHearEducation and our new programes
Join us at the National Literacy Trust’s conference in Birmingham on July 6!

isn’t just the title of our book …
it’s also our core mission statement at SeeHearEducation, linking together our three new programmes for 2026-7 and beyond:
putting literacy and oracy back together again!
we celebrate listening, reading, speaking and writing as four separate-but-inseparable skillsets, with practical ideas for integrating them into teaching and learning across the curriculum
our new framework also fully integrates critical thinking, social & emotional literacy, and visual literacies
techniques from TV, radio, print and digital journalism for subjects across the curriculum
a new framework for the 6 Ws (who? what? where? when? in which way? why?) focuses on getting students to ask great questions, and get good answers.
journalistic processes for teamwork sit alongside communication skills for the final products of publications or broadcasts
a new framework for knowledge and skills dissolves the age-old dichotomy between knowledge and skills
that’s then the basis for knowledge-rich immersive journeys through worlds that are strangely like our own
the aim is for young people (and their teachers) to become “curiouser and curiouser”, while developing the ability to navigate the uncertainties that lie ahead for us all …
